peacock Out of these, number of books have got published frequently with different editions. Some of them with even six or seven editions.

peacock 52 books are translated & published in different Indian regional languages including English and German also. Additional 9 books are also translated and are on the way of publication in different languages with the different publishing houses.

peacock The writing covers different areas of the life of mankind. The areas are viz. with social background, with spiritual background, the research work on Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, Epics like Ramayan & Mahabharat etc. His Biographical novels are based on the life of different distinguished personalities e. g. Gujarati Poet Narmad, Mahatma Gandhi & his son Harilal, Mohmmad Ali  Jinnah, the creator of Pakistan, Rabindranath Tagore, a Nobel laureate Indian Poet.

peacock His number of books are frequently awarded by the State Akadami, centralized literary organizations and number of different channels of repute. He has also won prizes in various short story competitions held during the span of his career.

peacock The novel based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi & his son Harilal was adapted in a  drama form in different languages and was performed on the stage for quite a long time. The English version of this drama 'Mahatma Vs Gandhi' was performed at U.K., U. S. A., South Africa & other countries. A special show was performed at Rashtrapati Bhavan on invitation from the then President K. R. Narayan.

peacock In 1999 in New York at Columbia University a program was  conducted being  Mahatma Gandhi Birth Anniversary wherein this drama alongwith other theatrical performances viz. ‘Gandhi’ by Mr. Richard Attenborrough & ‘Making of Mahatma’ by Mr. Shyam Benegal were invited. The program was hosted by Indo American Arts Council. On this occasion he was also invited to participate in the function along with Mr. Richard Attenborrough & Mr. Shyam Benegal.

peacock On completion of his 60th year he was felicitated by the number of social, educational, cultural & literary organizations in a civic function held at Mumbai. Again on the eve of the completion of the Golden Jubilee year of his literary career he was felicitated in a function held in Mumbai wherein his 11 books were released in six different Indian languages including English. This event of releasing 11 books in  six languages at a time is  recognized as a National Record by the Limca book of records.

peacock In 2005, he created a trust named ‘Gujarati Sahitya Pradan Pratishthan’ with an objective of translating and publishing, outstanding Gujarati books, in different Indian regional languages-including English. To meet with this purpose effectively, the trust made a tie-up arrangement with number of regional     language publishers. Under this project 25 Gujarati books have been published in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and English by 2011.

peacock He was associated with a banking sector for 39 years. His last assignment in the bank was as a Principal of the staff training college, from where he opted for pre-matured retirement in 1995.

peacock In 2010 he has completed the editing work of Gujarati translation of the authorised  edition of Mahabharat published by Bhandarkar Oriental Institute-Pune. The entire work is published in 20 volumes comprising of 14000 pages.

peacock An unique function was held under the banner of a specially formed committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Suresh Dalal on the eve of his Platinum Jubilee year. The function was held at Bhaidas Sabhagrah – Vileparle (w.), Mumbai on 20 January 2012. On this occasion, his 15 books were released in 6 different Indian languages. It was recognized by the Limca Book of records as National record in Indian literature. (The earlier record was also in his name only as stated above.)
